Effective for the spring 2009 semester, CAETE will supply each faculty member teaching one or more courses through CAETE with a URL that contains a hyperlinked list of the lectures for their course(s). It will be the faculty member’s choice whether or not to provide the URL to the main campus students.
CAETE retains the right to charge main campus students for access to one or more lectures at the prices indicated on the CAETE website. CAETE also retains the right to sell courses to companies and/or individuals according to the faculty member's indication on the Course Library Authorization form.
Allow 24 hours for a class lecture to be posted. TAs may also obtain access. Contact help@caete.colorado.edu or 303-492-2247 for assistance.
Upon request, CAETE will provide one copy of each class session in the desired format for the instructor. This provides an excellent means for you to review and critique your teaching performance. After the conclusion of the semester, you may use the media for your personal use only since CAETE has a market in the sale of courses.
CAETE makes courses available via the Internet (streaming and downloading) and on disc media (CDs or DVDs). Students who elect to access lectures via media will have the media shipped to their specified address. Please be cognizant of the lag time (about 1 week) and set deadlines accordingly. Refer to Distributing Materials to Students for additional information.
As a service to main campus students, CAETE provides one copy of each class lecture to the Engineering Library on CD-ROM. Main campus students may view the class lectures in the Engineering Library for the duration of the semester. Main campus students who want lectures on disc media may have it for a fee. Refer to the Delivery Methods page for more information.
