CAETE Tuition
Distance learning and main campus students registered through CAETE for academic courses follow the tuition and fee structure below.

Tuition is the same for degree/nondegree, credit/no-credit, in-state/out-of-state, and credit library courses.
- Tuition covers the cost of CAETE sending media within the U.S., unless special arrangements are requested. International shipping charges are not covered by tuition. Contact CAETE Financial Services for additional information.
- The student or company pays the cost of buying books and/or class notes, and software.
- Late registration/drop/add fees apply after the regular registration/drop/add period. Refer to the academic calendar.

- Students must file a petition to receive tuition refund if courses are dropped after the deadline dates (see academic calendar). Petition forms are available by contacting the CAETE office or the Continuing Education & Professional Studies registrar at 303-492-5148.
- If you receive a fee request from any other department at CU, contact CAETE before sending payment. CAETE cannot obtain a refund or transfer funds from another university department.
- Tuition usually increases each academic year beginning with the fall semester.
