Main Campus Degree Students Wishing to Switch to a Distance Degree Program
The following apply:
- You must have completed at least one semester on main campus.
- Nonresident students must have their department chair’s approval to take courses via distance learning.
- Register through CAETE.
- Contact the Boulder main campus registrar’s outreach coordinator at 303-492-6581 with instructions to either hold or refund your on-campus enrollment deposit (if you’re only taking distance courses for the semester).
Degree Distance Learning Students Wishing to Switch to Main Campus
This applies if you were registered during the semester immediately preceding the semester you want to take Boulder main campus courses and if you are a degree seeking student (e.g., fall 2007 distance students who want to register on main campus for spring 2008).
- Notify your academic department that you want to take a course through main campus registration prior to the semester start. Check with your department for deadline dates (see course sections for contact information). Your department will provide you with a Program Transfer Form that you must complete and return to the department and send a copy to the Boulder campus registrar’s outreach coordinator.
- You are not required to reapply to the degree program as a main campus student.
- You are required to make an enrollment deposit to hold your main campus reservation.
- You must pay all applicable main campus fees.
- If you have not been continuously enrolled from the previous semester and you wish to register on main campus, you must reapply to the degree program as a main campus student.
