Course Management Tools

Instructors use various course management tools. Two of the most common are CULearn and eCollege. These tools contain course materials, asynchronous discussion, assignments, a grade book, course calendar, and other features utilized by the instructors. There is no registration fee.

CULearn

Note that you must register for your course first before you can obtain access to CULearn. There are several steps. To use CULearn print out these instructions and follow the steps below to get started:

  1. Get your CUID and PIN. If you are registering for the first time, these numbers are sent to you via e-mail or U.S. mail. If you've forgotten or misplaced your numbers, contact the registrar or call 303-492-5148.
  2. Activate your Accounts (login name, e-mail, IdentiKey). 24 - 48 hours after you have registered, go to cuconnect.colorado.edu. In the Login box on the left, click on the IdentiKey/Login Help link. Be sure to record your CULogin Name and create your password. Once you have established your password, you will be able to login to CUConnect.
  3. CULearn Access. Once you have activated your accounts, you will have access to CULearn within 24 hours. Login to CULearn by going to culearn.colorado.edu.

For assistance with login procedures or activating your account, contact the Information Technology Services help desk at 303-735-4357 or help@colorado.edu.

eCollege

The Engineering Management Program is the only department/program that uses this course management tool. For all technical eCollege questions contact the eCollege Helpdesk at 303-873-0005 and specify that you use eCollegedirect or contact the Engineering Management Program.
