Kenneth Strzepek, is Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Visiting Professor of Economics at the University of Colorado, Senior Research Fellow at the International Food Policy Research Institute and an International Fellow in the Center for Environmental Economics and Policy for Africa at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He was the Founding Director of Center for Advanced Decision Support for Water and Environmental Systems, (CADSWES) University of Colorado, Boulder, whose mission was the incorporation of models and data analysis in water and environmental policy and operational decision making. He received the Department of Interiors Citizen's Award for the contributions of CADSWES to US water management. He has been using and teaching on GIS in Water Resources and Environmental Management for over 18 years.
