Carlos Felippa joined CU-Boulder as professor of aerospace engineering sciences in 1986, after 18 years experience in the aerospace industry at Boeing and Lockheed. Co-founder of the Center for Space Structures and Control, now the Center for Aerospace Structures, a top research group in computational and experimental mechanics with national and international reputation.
