Provides an introduction to management concepts and techniques for managing the on-going value creation activities of a wide range of organizations. Value creation includes manufacturing hardware, developing software, and delivering services. The customer service perspective is emphasized and products are viewed as one way of delivering exceptional services. Globalization and supply chains challenges are addressed.
