TLEN 5832: Managing Effectively in a Changing Telecom Environment
Description
This special, interdisciplinary course will provide students with an opportunity to join international managers and policymakers from around the world in an intensive seminar focused on the challenges of managing in a telecommunications environment in an era of technological change. Through classroom discussion and instruction, a group project and a seminar paper, the course will focus on: (1) effective management techniques; (2) the telecommunications climate; and (3) challenging issues confronting technology companies. The course will also include a number of top flight guest lectures and is designed to provide an effective overview of the cutting-edge issues that managers will face in telecommunications and technology companies around the world. The course will meet from 9-12 AM and 1:30-5:00 PM from Monday, July 12th to Friday, July 16th.
This course meets the ITP seminar requirement.
