CASP 5201: Project Management Basics

Description
Project management has it's own distinct language and it is an international language. With over 300,000 members and 200,000 certified Project Managers world wide, PMI has helped advance the profession and made strong project managers a key to successful companies. We will begin to understand how we can be a part of one of the fastest growing professions. What are the keys to project success and how can you utilize them.

Topics:

  • Project Integration
  • Project Scope
  • Time Management
  • Cost Management
  • HR Management
  • Quality Management
  • Communications
  • Risk Management
  • Procurement

You may register at any time within the semester/session, as long as you complete the course by the end date.

Benefits
Most of us come into the profession because of our success in some other technical or business area. We need the tools that take that previous success and turn it into a new skill that leads our teams from within. Ninety-three percent of Fortune 500 companies feel that strong Project Management will be the key to future success and profitability. This class will help give you ideas that you can use in your next project, perhaps as quickly as tomorrow!
