Candidacy is a single credit course to allow a student to graduate in a semester in which the student is not enrolled in any other courses. It is normally used if a student has completed all thesis credits before being prepared to defend the thesis (and has otherwise completed all requirements of the degree).

To enroll in Candidacy:

1. email your faculty advisor for permission to take EMEN 6940
2. attach the instructor approval to the CAETE registration form and send to CAETE
