TLEN 5710: Capstone

Description
Forming teams of approximately four students, each team will work on the topic selected during TLEN 5700, research and document this topic through the guidance of a faculty member, and present their findings.
Outline
Students meet independently and with capstone mentor to perform research Teams meet with course instructor to provide regular updates and project plan Project presentations and peer evaluations
Benefits
Students execute a publication quality research project advancing the state of knowledge and the state-of-the-art in telecommunications, both learning research and project skills and making a scholarly contribution.
Objectives
There are three primary goals: (1) complete a paper of publishable quality; (2) exhibit professionalism (i.e., work effectively as a team to meet deadlines, effectively utilize your advisor and create an excellent product); and (3) give a presentation that meets or exceeds professional standards.
