CSCI 5606: Principles of Numerical Computation

Description
Introduction to computational techniques for solving numerical problems. Emphasizes design, analysis, and computer implementation of accurate and efficient algorithms for solving basic mathematical problems.
Prerequisites
CSCI 3635 (Numerical Computation) and three semesters of calculus, or consent of instructor. Knowledge of a programming language such as Fortran or C is essential.
