Professional Development Certificates

Professional development certificates, such as the online Oracle certificates, are composed of non-credit courses taught by industry experts. The curriculum for each course is designed to prepare students to take the applicable industry certificate examinations. Non-credit courses cannot be applied to a master’s degree or graduate certificate. There is no admission application for professional development certificates. Simply complete the Noncredit Registration form or call the Continuing Education and Professional Studies registrar at 303-492-5148.

A University of Colorado at Boulder Certificate of Completion will be awarded upon satisfactory completion of any of the following courses (upon request):

• Oracle 10g: SQL
• Oracle 10g: PL/SQL
• Oracle 10g: Database Administration I
• Oracle 10g: Database Administration II
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Project Management Basics
• PMP Exam Prep

Certificate Completion Requirements

To receive a certificate, the course(s) must be completed with a satisfactory grade. If you received an unsatisfactory or no-credit grade, the course will not be counted toward completion of the certificate.   

Receiving Your Certificate

Once you have satisfactorily completed the course(s), please send a written request for your certificate to caete@colorado.edu or to the address below. Please include your SID number, the certificate (or course) you completed, the address you would like the certificate to be sent to, and your phone number or e-mail address in case we need to contact you.
